Our food pantry has been operating in Rockton for more than 25 years. Started, and continuously operated by Donn VanSchelven, the pantry assists around 60 families each week on average. Along with our regular weekly food pantry operations, we assist area families during holidays, as well. Our yearly Turkey Basket Drive is our largest community event and serves nearly 100 families every year.
We are here to help you. If you reside in the Hononegah/South Beloit School Districts, we are available for you. How can you access our food pantry?
-Our food pantry is open on Thursday mornings from 9-11am.
-Please bring a photo I.D. and a piece of mail to provide proof of residency.
That is all you need. It is that simple.
Donations are greatly appreciated, and we always have a need for volunteers. Giving is what helps us keep going and doing what we do. For volunteer opportunities, please contact us through the website, or call the church office at 815-624-6212.
If you would like to donate to the food pantry, donations of food can be dropped off in the church Monday-Wednesday from 9-12 noon. Otherwise, we have a donation drop box located next to the east side parking lot entry door.
Monetary donations are accepted and appreciated. They can be mailed to the church at:
Old Stone Church Pantry
101 E. Union Street
P.O. Box 101
Rockton, IL 61072
or, please consider giving digitally, by using the donation button provided below. We appreciate all of our community support!
