Visiting a new church for the first time can be an intimidating experience, but we hope to lessen that anxiety by providing some information up front.
Our service is (usually) about an hour long, and is fairly similar to other Congregational or Protestant services. We offer music with handbells, a church choir, and other special music throughout the year. Along with traditional hymns, we also offer a variety of guitar and other instrumental collaborations.
We consider ourselves a "relaxed traditional" group, and we welcome you just as you are. You will find some who worship here in their Sunday best, and others who are more comfortable in shorts and flip-flops. No judgment.
Come as you are.
Our church, like most others, is here for all people.
Young, old, single persons, and families. You name it!
We run the gamut, and we are here for you.
For families with children, we offer Sunday School during our Sunday service (September - May), and we also offer a nursery (year round) for those who are not yet school aged.
For all who wish to participate, we offer fellowship after most of our Sunday services directly after church. Fellowship generally consists of coffee and doughnuts, and lots of warm conversation, too. This is a time for our members to informally interact and continue to get to know one another better.
We meet downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. (Which is handicap accessible by elevator for those who are in need.)
-We offer Communion the first Sunday of each month, and offer it to anyone regardless of belief or church membership.
-Offering plates are passed every service, but we ask only that you give as God has called you to give. Giving is not obligatory.
-We love new visitors, and would love to get to know you better! We will not ask for a formal introduction or make a "scene", but please feel free to visit with us after church or leave contact information in the red pew pads if you wish.
